In my exploratory essay I tackled the topic of capital punishment. Before writing I had some knowledge but would not consider myself a expert. Some problems I encountered was defending both sides of the argument equally. I solved this by using the same amount of support by only using the strongest points. I think this piece revealed that I am not the best reseacher. But as long as I try I can figure almost anything out. I feel like my process was different. I did my writing first and filled in research and facts where it was needed. I did this because my writing is very strong so filling in missing spots with information seemed easier. I do not think anyone else did the assignment this way. If I were to change anything about my assignment maybe it would be the conclusion. I feel like if I worked a bit longer I could have closed off my piece more concisely.
