About The Essay –

The exploratory essay was a dive into researching and speaking of a topic. We were challenged as writers to research and write about a topic involving death without picking a side to be on. I chose capital punishment focusing on the death penalty. This assignment not only challenged me as a writer but as an overall student since it forced me to be a good researcher, speaker and be able to explain things without bias.
